Ethical investments are investment vehicles that don’t damage society or the world in any way. In fact, often funds are invested with the purpose of making a significant contribution to the environment and the wellbeing of other people.
For example ethical investments may invest in the areas of renewable and clean energy, recycling and waste management, water technologies, ethical banks and finance companies, technology, and sustainable products and services.

Or, they could be more about what the underlying companies don’t do — for example, an ethical investment fund would never include companies that use child labour.
